Project Scope
The Mission Investment Fund (MIF) and ELCA Federal Credit Union (FCU) needed to increase brand awareness and engagement among ELCA youth, adult leaders, and decision-makers at the 2024 ELCA Youth Gathering (July 2024, New Orleans).
The theme of the MIF and FCU's booth at the conference was "Better Together", which resulted in the following deliverables: takeaway items for distribution (buttons), a creative way to distribute the items (wheel), and signage explaining the instructions.
Signage and Distribution
As a way to encourage interaction at the booth, we created a wheel for the kids to spin and receive a random button based on the character they landed on. They were then encouraged to find other kids that had the pair to their character.

Buttons and Characters
Playing up the theme of "Belong Together", characters were designed to have pairs that the kids could trade and collect at the event. The buttons featured complimentary puns that encouraged the kids to interact with each other, giving and receiving kind remarks to each other throughout the event.
